My NIKON D90 Storage

Here you go...

What else can you do to keep your DSLR well? Since the DRY BOX is so expensive + I'm just a beginner + some people said it's ok just keep your DSLR in the bag itself; as long as you always shooting. Some more, most of the time i found out that my room is dry. So i came out with this simple idea...

From some of the forumers point of view, put some packet of silica gel into your container and everything will be fine. And by using they idea and making a search through Internet, i found out that this little stuff is quite useful. It's not a dry box and it's not a packet of silica gel but it's some kind of absorber for moister! It's call Wonderful Electronic Moisture Absorber II. I bought it online from Shashinki website (http://www.shashinki.com/).

From the picture i attached above, you can see how i place all my weapons inside the containers. The small white color box on bottom right side of the picture is the absorber, and it's all placed on top of dried towel. Hopefully by using this way of Storage, My D90 + the lenses will be fine. Anyone of you got any better idea?

My LENS

What is DSLR without it's LENS!?..

Nikon 18-105mm F3.5-5.6G ED VR Lens and Nikon 50mm F1.8D Lens; This is the two lens i bought with my D90. From the date i posted this article, all the items is 1 month old d!... Alot of shooting i've done from the day i purchased using this two lens, and most of the times 18-105mm is my choice. It's because of the focal length provided and it is a 'wide lens'.  And why do i bought the 50mm at the same time? IT's not because i know the picture produce from the Nikon 50mm lens, Because it is cheap and as a newbies, i also want to have 2 lens at once (most of the pro-photographer do).

But after a while, i found out that 50mm really serve me well in producing high quality picture. Not really know what is the term used in digital world, but for me the 50mm results is so so real! The people and the object in the picture captures was so so real and life (yes, although the object not talking to me) ;). But until now, i don't feel that i fully utilize the lens yet.

It's abit humble at first (for a beginner like me), but i starting to know and get used with most of the function on my D90 already. So, I just have to shoot more and more.. ;)

My D90

So finally, this machine is mine! 27th Nov 09' is the date i purchased this new D90. Cost me for RM4449 (+ kit lens + 50mm f1.8 + the filters for both lens). For the first time handling this camera, my hand was shaking. Not even dare to hold the lens attached firmly (excited + nervous)!. I've done some snapping in the shop before manage to dumb all the money for the seller (his name is Micheal). We both do the talking in Thai language though. (You know what it sound like when a Chinese guy do the Thai talking) ;), but he is nice. No any nice picture snapped on that day. So as part of DSLR Nikonian's, this is my shout out'!

"HEY you photographer out there, future's professional photographer is on his way..! ;)"

Nikon D90 ~ Fresh Me!

Nikon D90, My first DsLR ever. Bought it on 27th of Nov 09' with the kit lens 18-108mm + 50mm f/1.8, and i admit that it's was my most expensive toys ever! (yes, as what inside the forumers said - in DsLR world you'll need a very big investment!). Once the toy on my hand i can start see a new world in digital!
