PHUKET'S 2010' Day 1 and Day 2

Date: 24th March to 25th March

Comrades: Susam, Tae, Wood, Kai, Thep

Places: Penang International Airport, Lcct, Phuket International Airport, Phuket Town, Phuket Backpacker, Southern part of Phuket island

Activity: Walked and explored Phuket town, rented local motorcycles and traveled all around Phuket island (southern part)

Place of interest: Phuket town, Phanwa Cape, Phuket Aquarium center, Kata Noi Beach, Karon Beach, Patong Beach

At the Phuket international Airport, finishing the Thailand entering form!

Phuket International Airport: All the tourist ready for the Phuket immigration check!

The Phuket Backpacker: The Backpackers place to be. We stayed here for the first and 2nd night. Due to the delayed flight from KL (9.50pm) we only manage to register into Phuket backpackers (similar with guest house) at 12.30am middle of the night.

Since all the room is already booked so every one of us have to share the room with all the other guest. The design of every room is in cube and inside of each cube have 2 double decker bed (250B/pax).

1.30am: Going out for dinner and the food does lift us up!

3.00am: Time for bed - late cause by SINGHA on the Backpacker roof top! ;)

25th March 2010'

9.00am: 3 motorbike rented and while waiting for the bike we having breakfast nearby the Backpacker'. With the help of maps we manage to travel all around Southern part of Phuket Island that day.

Phuket Town: 108 mart - activating the mobile using local network (True Move). For the international roaming the charges from this local networks providers is much more better though.

10; Phuket Aquarium center: Nothing much here, so we decide not to enter. Just walking around the front door of the Aquarium center and doing some posting and shoting! ;)

Moving From place to place on the bike is really convenience and easy but it does have one disadvantage - Flat tyre! Luckily the maintenance store is just nearby, that mechanic charge us 120B for the rear flat tyre, more expensive than our place. This probably they caught us as foreigner? ;)

The time almost 1pm, our tummy start to yelling inside. While travelling from place to place we finally reach the Kata and Karon Beach. This place is amazing, the sea is blue, the sand is white the place is very very perfect (wish to have this in Malaysia). Thousand of foreigners everywhere around the beach, you can actually feel the sun is burning your skin! It's really hot that day, i wonder how the European people manage to do the Sundive!?

Till today, it's a shame that we never have the chance to swim at Kata/Karon Beach. :(

While looking for our 2nd day lunch we on our Motorcycle again and as map rulez finally we've reach this beach also known as the famous beach in Phuket - The Patong Beach. Phuket place of entertainment + a beautiful seaside does make Patong Beach the number one place to be! For me, i prefer Kata/Karon Beach for the clear and blue water.

7; Patong Beach - it's not easy to smile under the hot and sunny sun! huhu..

8; Patong Tuk tuk parked all the way of Patong Beach - Ready for the service. It's quite expensive if you take tuk2 from one point to another. So better take the local bus or the 'rod song theaw', only charge you 25B from Patong to Phuket town.
